Yasin Duman studied BA in Psychology at Boğaziçi University and MA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution (2015) at Sabancı University. He completed his PhD (2021) at the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in the field of intergroup relations and integration in the context of Syrian refugees in Turkey. He continues his academic studies as an independent researcher focusing on autonomy, conflict and peace, forced migration, intergroup relations, discrimination and assimilation policies. Also, since 2017, he has been working as a consultant for the projects carried out by international aid organizations in Turkey, the United Kingdom and Iraq for the protection, social cohesion and mental health and psychosocial support needs of people who have been displaced due to conflicts.
