Azad is the Executive Director at Spectrum House. Barış received his Bachelor and M.A degrees in Sociology from Hamburg University. He received his Ph.D in Philosophy from Leuphana Lüneburg University and Ruhr Bochum University. He worked as Research Assistant at Hamburg University in the Faculty of Political Sciences and Economics. He participated the research projects on Neoliberal World Order and Sociological Participation and Urban Sociology at the same university. He held lecturer position at Leuphana University of Lüneburg and taught Intercultural Communication and Immigration. Since 1998, he took part in many projects related to minorities, especially Yezidis, and has conducted many studies on cultural anthropological and religious origins related to minorities. He continues his studies in the field of social sciences, especially in the theories of intra-European integration, neoliberalism and socialization.
Ebru Özdemir is the Executive Vice-Director at Spectrum House. Prior to joining the Spectrum House she worked as a Project Coordinator in the consultancy company that she founded in 2005. Her interest areas are gender equality, European integration, and political communication strategies.
Ebru Özdemir graduated from Saint-Joseph French High School, and received her B.A degree in Translation and Interpretation from Bilkent University with her thesis on Industrial and Commercial Policies of European Union. She got her M.A degree from Galatasaray University, the Department of Communications.
Tulin Johansson is the Global Managing Director at Spectrum House, Istanbul. Prior to joining the Spectrum House, Tulin Johansson served as an Associate Professor of Economics at Lasell University between 2005-2019. She also served as a chair of Accounting/Finance/Economics department for seven years at Lasell University. In addition, Tulin Johansson held lecturer positions at Northeastern University and University of Boston, Massachusetts. She has published and presented articles on Environmental Quality and Economic Development. Her current scholarly interest lies on the Circular Economy and she is currently studying “Economics and Policies for a Circular Bio-Economy” MicroMaster program at Vageningen University. Tulin Johansson received her Ph.D in Agricultural Economics, specializing in Environmental Economics from University of Kentucky in 2000, with her dissertation on the Interactions between Economic Development and Environmental Quality: A county level analysis. She received her Master of Science degree in Economics also from University of Kentucky and her Bachelor degree in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University.
Natalya Ketenci is a Professor in Economics at Yeditepe University, Turkey, where she has been employed for the past 17 years. Since 2022, she is the director of the Management Application and Research Center at Yeditepe University (MARC-YUVAM). She received her Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Reading, UK (2003) and an MSc in Mathematics from the Kazak State National University (1996). At the same time, she is a member of the Centre for Euro-Asian Studies at the University of Reading’s Henley Business School. Dr. Ketenci was assisting in the preparation of the Transition report 2001: Energy in transition in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, London (UK). Her works have been focused on international trade issues in the European Union and emerging countries. Her current research has a focus on energy issues in Turkey and on energy links between European and transition countries. She is one of the editors and authors of Economics and Politics of Energy in the Middle East and Eastern Europe and Turkish-Russian Relations: Prospects and Challenges books published by Lexington Books in 2021 and 2019. Her publications include contributions to such journals as Energy, Russian Journal of Economics, Empirical Economics, Economic Modeling, and Research in Economics.
Ayşe Sevencan received her Ph.D in Economics from Yeditepe University and still working as an assistant professor of Economics at Yeditepe University. She received her Master of Science degree in Economics also from University of North Carolina and her Bachelor degree in Economics from Bilkent University. . She has published and presented articles on Macroeconomics, Money & Capital Markets, Energy Dependence and Economic Growth. Her current scholarly interest lies on the Circular Economy.
Kütahya Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Bilgisayarlı Muhasebe ve vergi uygulama ön lisans programından mezun olduktan sonra lisans eğitimini Anadolu Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesinde tamamlamıştır. 2007-2010 yılları arasında İstanbul Kürt enstitüsünde yönetici olarak görev yapmıştır. Uzun yıllar Ar Yayınlarında İdari İşler sorumlusu olarak çalışan Altun 2021 yılı itibariyle İdari İşler Direktörü olarak Spectrum House’a katılmıştır. Ayrıca 2007 yılından beri özellikle kadın hakları alanında faaliyet yürüten sivil toplum kuruluşlarında gönüllü olarak çalışmalar yürütmektedir.
Fatma Özlem İZOL, Atılım Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi’nden mezun olmuştur. Stajyer avukat olarak Globus Hukuk Bürosu’nda hukuk alanında çalışmalarına başlayan İzol, Aslan Hukuk Bürosu’nda yardımcı avukat olarak Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu’nun sözleşmeli vekilliği görevini icra etmiş, 2015 yılında kendi hukuk bürosunu açmıştır. İş Hukuku ve Ceza Hukuku alanlarında çalışmalarda bulunan İzol, 2012 yılından bu yana kayıtlı bulunduğu Baronun CMK ve Adli Yardım merkezlerine bağlı olarak Kadın ve Çocuk Hakları alanında gönüllü avukatlık yapmaktadır. Hukuki Danışman olarak 2021 yılında Spectrum House’a katılmıştır.
Lisans eğitimini Ankara Üniversitesi Dil, Tarih, Coğrafya Fakültesi Klasik Arkeoloji bölümünde tamamlamıştır. Lisans eğitimin ardından finans alanında çalışmaya başlamış, 2002-2020 yılları arasında özel hastanecilik sektöründe mali işler koordinatörü olarak görev yapmıştır. 2015 yılından beri Özel Çocuklar ve kadın haklarıyla ilgili pek çok sivil toplum kuruluşunda gönüllü olarak yer almıştır. 2022 yılında Spectrum House’a Mali İşler Koordinatörü olarak katılmıştır.
